Sugar Cane & Co Denim
Established in Tokyo in 1965, Sugar Cane is dedicated to meticulous recreations of workwear, military clothing, and sportswear from the 20th century. Part of Toyo Enterprise of Japan, they originally manufactured products for the US military, after the end of the Vietnam War, their production shifted to Japanese manufacturing and took on the name Sugar Cane, coined by a US officer stationed there. Their design influence is weighted heavily from American workwear, culture and military.
